Table Bay is all about pride, performance and professionalism and based on these three principles we nominated our 2010 top financial advisors. One of the prizes was a four night stay at the magnificent JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Desert, California.
Though meteorologists predicted rain, we were fortunate enough to experience mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the low 60s. Everywhere one looked there was beauty. From the stylish surroundings of the resort with its fine dining, sizzling night-life, pools, gondolas, waterways and newly remodeled lobby to the scenic views of what looked like sugar powdered Santa Rosa Mountains that towered over the area everything reminded us of why we work so hard and smart.

Since work without play does not go well, we took out our golf clubs and played the exceptional 18-hole championship golf course that was designed by acclaimed architect Ted Robinson who is also called the “King of Waterscapes”. Besides the unique design of the course, golf carts with state-of-the-art navigational and computing systems further enhanced our play experience. But let’s not forget about Carmen, the lady driving the big golf cart that contained all the delicious culinary goodies that made us
much better golfers.
For those who wanted to warm up before the big game or slow down after it, an amazing 18-hole championship putting course with lights was waiting. It is the nation’s first, all-natural turf putting course which resembles all the aspects of a full length course. Ted Robinson incorporated sand bunkers, water hazards, strategically placed trees, and rolling fairways. One of our attendees jokily said that he wanted to return to the putting course with his full golf bag.
In addition to all the fun we had, we also focused on the latest sales ideas and strategies in order for all to be at our next elite advisor meeting in 2012.
